How To Add a New Teacher To DocStar

Adding Teachers to DocStar

  1. Connect to DocStar
  2. Click on Retrieve (Left corner)
  3. Select “Browse”
  4. Right click on GRADES/CAM
  5. Select NEW FOLDER
  6. Write teacher’s name capitalized.  Last name, followed by fist name.
  7. Teacher’s name will appear in list

THEN

  1. Click on File/Inbox (Left corner)
  2.  Select “Templates” from upper icon menu
  3. Select TEACHER RECORDS from new window > EDIT
  4. Chose the “Actions” tab on the right
  5. On the first window scroll choose “Select Teacher”
  6. On the lower window titled “List”, scroll down to the very bottom. 
  7. Once you reach the last teacher name, put the cursor on the after the name and hit ENTER
  8. Write the new name in the same format (LAST, FIRST)
  9. Click on Save
  10. The “Templates” window will appear again.  Click OK 

How To Add a New Folder for the Quarter i.e. SP2020

Adding Quarter Folders to DocStar i.e. "SP2019 CAM"
Click on File/Inbox (Left corner)
Select “Templates” from upper icon menu
Select TEACHER RECORDS from new window > EDIT
Chose the “Actions” tab on the right
On the first window scroll choose “Select Document Type”
On the lower window titled “List”, scroll down to the very bottom. 
Once you reach the last FA2018 CAM entry, put the cursor on the after the name and hit ENTER
Write the new folder title in the same format i.e. FA2020 CAM
Click on Save
The “Templates” window will appear again.  Click OK

When Files Aren't Showing Up 
DocStar - Reset To Defaults
File ---> Close
Options ---> My Preferences
Choose ---> Inbox Review
Reset to Defaults
Choose ---> Yes
Save
Image File Path Does Not Exist --> Click On
