Student Login Guide: Self Service

Self Service is where you can register for classes for the upcoming quarter, view your grades by term, view the complete course catalog, search for specific classes, sections, or instructors, and even pay any balance you might happen to have with student billing.

• In your browser of choice, head to selfservice.mi.edu (or click the link on the front page of portal.mi.edu)
• When prompted, enter your student email (ex. doej456@student.mi.edu) and password.
• Your password will be your birthdate that the school has on record in MMDDYY format. (ex: if your birthdate is January 22, 1993, your password would be 012293)
• Click "Sign In" or hit the Enter/Return key on your keyboard
